J. L. H. from USA flew to Fortis Hospital Noida for Meniscule Repair & ACL Repair both Orthopaedics surgeries on 10th April 2007. The operation was performed by Dr Ashok Rajgopal, Director, Department of Orthopaedics.

Mr. Warren Miller already had one of his knees operated in Australia; however, he had to wait almost three years for his turn to come.

I came to India and got admitted in Fortis Healthcare, Noida on 31st August, 2005. The facilities provided by the hospital are appreciable. Doctors, Nurses and other staff are very cordial in discharging their responsibilities and it is a real consolation for a patient like me who has come from a foreign country.

Special mention should be made of the Guest Relation Officer who impressed me very much with her friendly attitude. She was very prompt in providing the facilities I requested from her. Her superb communication skill will be an asset to this institution.

How do you express gratitude to someone who has changed your life forever? How do you convey in words the emotions felt when someone helps you? elevate your level of self-esteem virtually overnight? All I can do is SMILE! Before I came to Dr. Sandhya, I would have never dreamt of showing my teeth when smiling at someone. Over the years, I had ground down my teeth to nothing more than little stubs. I had caps on the front of my teeth that resembled those of "Sponge Bob Square Pants". I have been entirely comfortable during my surgical stay here. The obvious experience demonstrated in dealing with International patients make me able to recommend your service to any associates. While my surgical procedure was minor and routine I would and probably will return in the future should a need arise. My room was appropriately appointed, when I described it to my friends in the USA by e-mail they concluded I was on a holiday. Meals were well prepared and varied inspite of the adjustments necessitated by the global bird flu crisis. I missed my chicken and eggs, but this could not be helped. Matter of fact medical treatment, state of art equipment, a skilled surgical team and round the clock nursing care provided an anxiety free stay. I was amazed at how quiet my room was in such a busy hospital. I am also grateful to Dr.Dheeraj Bhojwani for his tireless effort in co coordinating my visit. The myriad e-mails and telephone calls, assistance in expediting my visa, all made this visit a positive and successful experience. Overall you have raised my expectation of what professional medical treatment should be.
