He has spent over eight years training and practicing in England. His last appointment in England was as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, when he achieved fame for successfully treating major injuries to the leg of an international footballer.

He has presented papers at several major Orthopaedic meeting in London, Cambridge, Gothemberg (Sweden), Tokyo, Yokohama (Japan), etc. He was appointed Chairperson for 'Symposium on ACL' at the Asia-Pacific Knee Society Meeting, Tokyo 2000.
