Education

Undergraduate and postgraduate in General Medicine from VSS Medical College (Sambalpur University).

After post graduation in 1990 completed senior residency program in Hemato-Medical Oncology from Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, AIIMS, Delhi from 1991 to 1994.

Professional Excellence:

Worked as Junior Consultant under Dr. Anandhi Ranganathan at Dharamshila Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Delhi, from 1994 to 1996.

Subsequently continued at the same institution as Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology till August 2004.During his tenure he has been instrumental in starting the DNB Medical Oncology program at Dharamshila Cancer Hospital from 2001.

After his 10-year tenure at the Dharamshila Cancer Hospital he has now joined the Fortis Healthcare group of Hospitals from September 2004 as Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology.

Academic Excellence:

He has publications in various medical journals and is actively involved in new drug trials.
