Dr. Ajaya Nand Jha's rich and varied experience in his chosen area of specialization includes the much coveted year long exposure at Hope Hospital, Salford Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, UK; 3 years with Manchester Royal Infirmary; 8 years with P D Hinduja National Hospital Mahim, Mumbai (Department Head of Neurosurgery).

Dr. A.N Jha has had a long-standing interest in neurovascular surgery and has been one of the founding members of the Indian Society for Cerebrovascular Surgery. He is also its current editor. In addition to this over the last few years he has been involved with development of Radio Surgery & Image Guided Surgery, and in these two fields, he has had considerable experience. Also he has been one of the first to develop a dedicated Radio Surgical System at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Subsequently, the use of frameless Stereotaxis was also introduced by him at the Apollo Hospital in Delhi.

"Chief of Naval Staff Bronze Medal" for Pathology - AFMC Poona; "Smt. Raja Lakshmi Ramchandran Memorial Trophy" for The Best Surgical Resident of the Year - Lady Harding Medical College; University of Delhi, Award of Special Excellence - Indian Medical Association (South Delhi Branch) and last but not the least he got the 2nd position in All India Post Graduate Examination
